This is not a subreddit for screen caps to show off the looks of your created character. This subreddit is focused on mechanical aspects of the game relevant to making functional character or party builds.

Keep posts Safe for Work (SFW)

Avoid images containing nudity, slurs, excessive profanity.

Appropriately flair your posts. If your post requires mods, you must use a mod flair.

The mod flair issue has become so frequent that rather than manually changing the flair myself, I will remove it and you can repost with the correct flair.

Be polite and constructive

It is ok (and in fact, encouraged) to point out incorrect information. But do not namecall or lob personal insults

No Low Effort Image Posts

If asking for a build to make a BG3 character based on another fictional character, you can use images. But include in the post a description of the character's abilities, powers, attitude, etc. to help those not familiar with the character.

Do not post build screenshots and leave others to reverse engineer the build.

Screenshots or videos showing big damage numbers are fine. But explain how you got there. The same applies for character sheet screenshots. List essential items (a screenshot of your character sheet leaving people to identify items by the thumbnail is NOT acceptable), classes and subclasses chosen, appropriate feats, and important topics as necessary.

"AI" generated builds must be accurate

So far I am not aware of any AI generated builds posted on this sub which meet this criteria l without the OP first reviewing and fixing multiple topics before submitting to the sub. The AI typically confuses and mixes up mechanics, as well as pulls from D&D 5e mechanics which do not apply to BG3.

No low quality or pointless tier lists

Tier lists are allowed, but will be scrutinized and may be removed if they are of extremely "low quality." If you want your tier list to stay up then ensure it is pointless on a relevant topic of some import, and that some form of grading scale or justifications for your decisions is provided. Be prepared to defend any "hot-takes" in your post, or better yet state then clearly outright. If it is determined that the tier list contains a large number of unjustifiable rankings, it may be removed.

This includes Dungeons and Dragons 5e content
