This sub is strictly focused on 4K Ultra HD Blu-rays. There are other subs that focus on DVD/Blu-Ray collecting if that's your particular interest. Non-relevant posts & comments will be removed.

For our purposes: PlayStation, Xbox, and other video game consoles are NOT considered accompanying tech. They are gaming consoles that just happen to play movies; rumors related to consoles are not a fit here. News regarding consoles that is specifically movie-related may be allowed on a per-case basis

No Screenshots of Order Pages/Pre-Order Pages or Cataloging/Library Apps. Shipping Posts.

We do not allow screenshots of your new orders/pre-orders, or of cataloging apps or digital libraries. Please wait until your new items have arrived and take a photo/make a post of the actual item. For vendors: Only vendors that offer only movies or similar products can have complaints or questions posted if they’re not already answered. This avoids clutter. No shipping damage posts, or related stuff. Take that to the vendor.

This sub takes a hard stance against unsubstantiated rumors, false information, misrepresentation, and flat-out lies regarding 4K releases, equipment, etc.

As such, we may remove posts that do not link to or provide a reputable source and/or are obviously fabricated. This also includes AI-generated posts, comments, or images.

No Politics | Karma Farming | "Doom & Gloom"

Politics, "doom & gloom" news, or unrelated karma farming are prohibited in this sub.

No Wish Lists/Most Wanted Titles/"Any Chance" Posts

Wish lists, most-wanted upgrades/releases, "what are the chances of XYZ getting a release?" etc. should be posted in the link in our Mega Hub, pinned to the top of the page.

All haul, pickup, or collection pictures must be at least 50% 4K UHDs. If the post is mostly Blu-ray or DVD, it will be removed.

No Slipcover Debates

Some people like them. Some don't. The topic of slipcovers is not related specifically to 4K UHD, and will no longer be allowed. This includes posts such as "what do you do with your slipcovers?" where you can find slipcovers for specific titles, or if a title has a slipcover.

No Discussion of Piracy

Discussions related to the pirating of films is not allowed in the sub. This includes "custom releases" (such as Star Wars 4K77), bootlegs, and internet piracy/illegal streaming.
